Kung fu Massage or Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

The academy offers a range of potential health benefits based on its principles of balancing the body's vital energy (Qi) and improving overall well-being. Traditional Chinese massage, also known as Tui Na, targets areas of discomfort and inflammation, potentially alleviating chronic pain conditions like headaches, back pain, arthritis, and fibromyalgia by improving Qi circulation and reducing muscle stiffness.

Abdominal kneading techniques can stimulate internal organs, potentially enhance gastrointestinal efficiency, and alleviate digestive issues like constipation and bloating. It can stimulate the lymphatic system, which helps filter out toxins—potentially boosting the immune system and enhancing the body's natural detoxification processes.

Techniques like vigorous kneading and stroking stimulate blood flow throughout the body, improving oxygen and nutrient supply to tissues, and potentially benefiting cardiovascular health and muscle recovery. It can relieve stress and muscle tension; Chinese massage may facilitate deeper and more restorative sleep, potentially benefiting individuals with insomnia or other sleep disorders.

It can increase blood flow, and relaxation techniques can aid in the recovery process for injured muscles and reduce muscle tension. It focuses on pushing, stretching, and kneading muscles and joints to promote Qi flow and reduce stiffness. It’s done by applying pressure to specific acupoints along meridians to balance energy flow and alleviate pain, stress, and other ailments.

It is a holistic approach rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, aiming to address both physical and emotional well-being by balancing the body's energy flow and promoting natural healing. Originally learned in China, known to be the land of traditional martial arts, this therapy is now being practiced in India, where many people have already benefited.

Kindly inform the practitioner of this art about any medical history.

Clients are responsible for informing the practitioner about any medical conditions, injuries, allergies (including allergies to oils or lotions), and current medications prior to the session. This includes conditions like bleeding disorders, pregnancy, cancer, fractures, open wounds, acute infections, severe mental/emotional disorders, skin diseases, and osteoporosis.

Individuals with certain medical conditions, such as bleeding disorders or those taking blood thinners, should consult with their doctor before receiving TCM massage due to potential risks like excessive bleeding.

It's essential to communicate any discomfort or pain experienced during the massage to the therapist immediately. Every individual should communicate their preferences regarding pressure, intensity, and areas of the body to be avoided during the massage.

Note: TCM massage, especially deep tissue techniques, may cause some discomfort or slight bruising during or after a session—this is normal. The massage is for therapeutic purposes and is not intended to diagnose or treat any medical condition.

If you have health concerns, consult with your doctor before adding TCM massage to your treatment plan. Regular sessions are recommended for long-term benefits, as multiple sessions are often needed for lasting changes and optimal results.
